14 Years ...

Today is our wedding anniversary!!!

March 26, 1995, what a great day. I remember walking down the aisle as if it was yesterday. The feeling of excitement and love. And to look into Rich's eyes and vow our love to each other.

I can honestly say that today I am more in love with Rich than I was that day. The way he respects me and looks at me with such love. Most of the time, I do no wrong in his eyes. He is truly the best soul mate I could have ever dreamt of.

I look forward to all the years to come with him. All the tiny cherished moments, secrets and whispers that we have. My heart is so full with love for him.

Rich .. I LOVE YOU!!! I can't wait to spend a gazillion more anniversaries with you.

At a Point ...

As I sit and think ...

I have so many self confidence issues it is pathetic.
Why can't I walk into a public area and not wonder if people are laughing at me or talking about me? Why can't I just sit and eat a meal without thinking people are watching?

This morning I sit and think about what an amazing husband and kids I have. They love me for who I am and who I aspire to be. They may laugh at times but they are laughing with me. They are constantly telling me I am beautiful. Hannah tells me I am skinny (we will be having her vision tested!!!! LOL). I can say what I am thinking and they do not judge me. I tend to be a brutally honest person and tell it like it is.

I guess what I am getting at is, if only I can...

Rich Got a Tattoo ...

We decided that this year we would each get a tattoo for our anniversary gifts to each other.

We thought long and hard as to what we wanted. Each had to have symbolism.

Father/Daughter Dance ...

Last night was the Father/Daughter Dance. It was amazing.
Hannah looked adorable and Rich looked studly!!!
Hannah didn't let Rich take a break all night. At one point when they went outside for a picture she told Rich to hurry it was her favorite song (something by Shakira)!!!
I think I can speak for them and say they both had a blast.

I did it!!! I got my first tattoo.

The pain was nothing like I expected ... more annoying than anything.

I am soooo pleased with my ink ... the bird stands for the true love I have found in Rich, the cherries are each for the kids and the four stars are for my late grandparents.

Anticipation ...

Today my tattoo anticipation is so high!
I have such mixed emotions. I am excited, nervous, scared and I don't even know what.
What scares me the most is the pain factor ... I know it is going to hurt. But once it is done, I will be so happy.
I can do it ... I know I can.
