I Am Determined ...

This year I have decided that we are having a handmade Christmas.

If I give a gift it has to be something that I have made and comes from my heart.

Every year I preach about how we are losing the whole context of Christmas and we shouldn't be buying a gift just to buy but instead we should give from our hearts.

So this year, I am determined.

I have already started and have lots of ideas!!!

I better get to work ... the clock is ticking.

Twinkle Toes ...

Today we adventured into the big world of school shopping.

Hannah had to have a pair of Skechers Twinkle Toes. I think so did every little girl in the the Central Valley. After our fourth store, which was the Skechers store itself, I just about gave up. But how do you tell an insistant 7-year old that we can't find them.

You don't!!!

So on the my phone I searched every store I could think of that would carry them and started calling.

Guess where we found the very last pair of 12.5's ... JCPenney.

She better love those shoes!!!!!!!!!!!

Old Friends ...

The Kayl's stopped by for a short visit this past weekend.

It was so great to see them. The kids got along great and had lots of fun swimming, bike riding and playing video games.

Hope to see them again soon.

This past weekend we had the opportunity to visit our family.

Oh how I miss them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEET DAUGHTER.

Where has the time gone?

Hannah is 7.

I remember the day I found out we were going to expanding our family to 4.

We were all so excited. Jeremy wanted to name her Shrek.
From the moment we found out we were having a girl, she had Rich wrapped around her finger.
She is our little angel. So carefree and loves life.
I am so proud to be her mommy. She get so excited with the littlest things.
She is growing to be such a great person.

We celebrated her seventh birthday - luau style.
The day was filled with lots of friends.
The Bogan's, The Rasmussens, The Beals and lots of family.
Such great memories.
